This movie breaks the boundaries of every day cinema and forces the audience to question themselves with every frame.
To me, the essence of horror in a horror film is the unknown. And the creation of inner disturbance within the unknown. And this film leaves you scrambling to understand what you cannot see. It forces your imagination into action and creates an oddly familiar feeling that we all felt at least once as a kid.
As for the “plot” everyone I know interprets a different perspective of this film and I think that’s what is the great thing about it. The horrors are personal to you and your interpretation.
This film is very artistic and experimental and lingers with each shot. It’s obviously not an everyday watch but I respect the adventurous way of story telling.
I think it offers something unique and different.
