This book was…well, okay. The plot was kind of boring and hard to follow, but I understood what the author was going for. The story kinda got confusing and slow and some points, but in some ways the story was pretty good. The only thing I really hated about this book was: *SPOILER WARNING!* Sometimes the kids were pushy with getting the building of the pancake house to stop. They continued to rip the poles out of the grounds used for plotting the building. The story became slightly repetitive because they did the same routine over and over. This review is entirely my opinion. I know some people might find this book amazing, but I’m not one of those people. However, I hope my review helped!

I read this book in an hour or so because it was so good. I’m constantly re-reading it. The storyline is amazing. Though I haven’t gone through anything Sunny has struggled with in the book, I find that this book would be great for readers who are going through many of the problems Sunny is. Anyways, this book is really good and I definitely recommend it for people who love reading and hate reading. Plus, it’s a series of books as well! I loved this book and I hope my review helped!

This book was terrible. The plot changes way too much and the characters aren’t even introduced, they are spoken about. It made me feel like I was expected to know all about the characters when they were talked about and were not introduced. SPOILER!!! When the grandfather had the fever, the main character, Matilda, was only thinking about what some boy (no, he was not introduced) would be thinking of her if he saw how helpless she was. This review is entirely my opinion, I have read some of the other reviews and people have said that this book is great. I personally did not like this book and will not be reading it again. I hope my review helped!
