Please watch this! I am binge watching it at the moment. Like previous comments I wanted to see Zelensky before he became the incredible leader he is now. It’s very strange to see the story of an idealistic young man becoming the President of Ukraine after his rants about the then present government is recorded by his pupils and goes viral. He then sets about trying to get rid of corruption, oligarchs, poverty, nepotism and join the EU amongst many other things! Bearing in mind this series was first screened in 2015 it’s like someone had a time machine. Although I wish it could have been destroyed before the Russian invasion. The acting is outstanding, Zelensky is young and happy. Like one of the previous comments I look at the scenery and wonder what destruction there is now and indeed if any of the actors have lost their lives. Now Zelensky and the whole of Ukraine are fighting for their country and their lives and this is all very, very real. Servant of the People is one of the best series I have seen.
