I’ve always been a film buff since I was a boy. More so than the rest of my family, resulting in me blathering on and on about the latest film we just watched in nerdy giddy until we arrived home. Oppenheimer from start to finish IS a masterpiece. From the pacing of the film mimicking that of the weapon that changed the course of humanity forever to the VFX and devastating impactful sound design that filled me with a true understanding of what Oppenheimer meant as he quoted the Bhagavad Gita “Now i become death, the destroyer of worlds.” When I left the theater, I couldn’t speak with excitement the way I usually do on the way home… only think and contemplate on what could have been and where we could be heading. Go watch this true work of art. Oppenheimer the man and film will go down in history as one of the greatest of the/our time.
