After recently playing Sub Nautica, Journey and Abzu I was looking for something similar and Rime came up as a suggestion. And I am so glad it did. I loved it. The art was simple but beautiful and the lighting was gorgeous and the music was a joy to listen to. I found it very calming to play during these uncertain times (except the bird part, man I don't like that bird).
I'm not a very skillful gamer, so I like games that I don't die all the time in, or ones that have an easy skill level and my 2 adult kids laugh at me for this. I play for relaxation and I love games that look beautiful and with some puzzles for a bit of a challenge. For me Rime ticked those boxes. This was the first game I have played where I shed a tear at the end, this was a surprise ending. I am replaying it though because it lets you go back and find the collectibles you missed and you can choose what chapter to do this, you don't have to restart from the beginning.
I recommend this game, and now am on the lookout for something similar.
