I dont get why so many people are quick to stand up for Jim and attack the family. Oh wait, I do get why people would do that. Thats sad, but not surprising.
Anyway, I found the documentary to be very intriguing the first few episodes, as they were building and building, but then it all falls flat. I'm glad the family gets closure, but there were so many stories, so many kids, so much lack of police reports, photographs...that it all became very muddled.
If Jim indeed is the person they think he is, at what point did the many many numerous victims (Wives, Children, Students) actually try and stop it. I'm not victim blaming, but its so sad to see a family/city held captive by a man who was so violet(allegedly), and nothing was ever done about it.
