I love this series. It's very different and captivating. I'm a big fan a sci fi and this hits the spot. The story line is definitely close to being a master piece. Got a little slow for me at the point Dijimon Hounsou was on the ship losing his mind, but still a great show. I'll never forget how Terrance Howard's character was obsessed with icecream. If you don't put the icecream cone down and handle your business mannnnn! Why did the series get cancelled? Not fair to get us all charged up and hooked on something then bam! The story never finishes. Sucks big time. Love the show!

The name confused me a bit because seems it was changed to "Dark was the Night" at least on Tubi that is. This movie is a great watch. It portrays something that we all dread which is losing the love of our life. Happy Family of 3 lose their husband / dad. The widow does not cope well at all which leads her teenage son to having to be the most responsible one. It's extremely sad, but realistic. I gave it 5 stars because it really touched my heart, and I've loved Marisa Tomei since "Untamed Heart" - great actress!

One of the best movies ever without a doubt. Been awhile since viewing it, however, this drama / love story goes down in history. Great script and great cast! You never get over this one. My most memorable part is the one I cry on the most which is when she let loose of his hand and away he goes. That part is quite upsetting because it seems they both could've at least tried to fit on the floater, seems it was big enough. I've probably watched this film about 4 times over the years and would still tune in. Definitely on my top 5 favorite love stories and that "My Heart will Go On" song by Celine Dion is amazing.... Recently however, I'm hearing that there are lies and conspiracies related to how the ship sank. I'm open to information regarding this, truth be told it's something we may never truly have all the facts about, so my review is solely based on the intensity level of this movie. I was aware that it was made based off several nonfactual events as opposed to having some true events take place in the movie, therefore, I've never thought of it as a "true story" from the beginning. It's definitely sad and upsetting how the rich treats the poor in this movie, but that's actually one of the most realistic events in this film.

I watched this movie years ago maybe around 2007'ish or so. I gave it 4 stars because it never quite left my mind. I always recall this film for some reason maybe because it was so intense. The title is perfect for it. It starts off a bit slow, but only gets better. John McGinley is a sick psycho in this film and plays the part almost too well. He's obsessed with a young girl whom he keeps locked in his basement awaiting her womanhood years. Sick as ever! Molly Parker's character is the hero, she risks her life over and over to find this little girl whom she never met. It's a great Saturday afternoon watch in my opinion, when you've cleaned your house and just wanna flop down on your couch and find something to watch that'll keep you captivated for awhile.

Such an amazing movie. It's been awhile since watching it, however it's one of those films you never forget. It's an emotional roller coaster ride. As humans we get all caught up in situations that we should not be in half of the times, and this film represents those bad choices. Loved it, such a great story and a great cast!

A great film with an amazing cast. How about that Terrance Howard though! In my opinion he aced it although he wasn't the main character or maybe I'm just so fascinated with him as an actor. Sanaa Latham was truly amazing as well, her character demonstrates what many women have to endure which is giving the gift of genuine trust in a man even though it hurts to even think about him longing for another woman which in this case is Nia Long. A krazy affair almost took place, but it didn't. So Sanaa won the battle - good for her! All of them did an outstanding job with their characters! The movie is very entertaining all the way through. It's a classic and a collectible which I do own in my DVD collection by the way. This one makes you laugh, shake your head, fuss, and everything in between. They did that!

This film is probably #3 or #4 on my top 5 love stories. It's a great written film with a great cast. Lorenz Tate and Nia Long were amazing together. Your heart will be warmed when watching this. Love is krazy, Love is kind. Love will forever blow your mind! Not sure if they ever received an award for this film, but you can tell by all the 5 stars that it's one of the best hands down! If they had a museum for the greatest films ever, a Love Jones display would definitely be there!

This movie has many similarities as to how my diary would write. I was once caught in a love triangle and thought I had made the best choice, but my heart was still elsewhere... it was where the love was genuine. Like Allie, I eventually found my way back and now we're sharing a beautiful life together. One of my fav love stories hands down! Actually this is #1 on my top 5 love stories. A very energetic and emotional film with a great cast and script. This one belongs in a collection with the Titanic film. All-time favorites! And guess what ladies, even though the men may complain and say this is a lame chic film, they love it every time - never fails! Never marry for any reason other than genuine love and you can only love someone genuinely after you're friends first!

One of the most positive and entertaining television show ever! You can't find too many of these in the present day. Thank goodness for ole' skool reruns... what would we do without them! The Cosby show is beautiful and I love how Bill turned the whole ideal of the show around from wanting it to be a struggling black family in the ghetto to a well-off black family with him being a doctor and Clara being a lawyer. Well done! This show demonstrates family values to a high capacity! If your child loves watching tv, order the dvd collection or check your local library. I found the complete first season at a thrift store for $1 and it felt like I found a precious jewel! Children don't have many positive options to watch on tv anymore, this is a great choice that will not bore them and will teach them positive things at the same time. Despite what the entertainment industry has done to Bill... I don't know him personally so I can't speak on his behalf, but he demonstrates a true genuine husband and father on this show, therefore, making my review along with others a great one still!

Such a great and emotional movie. The love this father and daughter had for each other was so heart warming, yet sad because the father has lost his abilities to be the man that she needs him to be. Her love brings his mind back every now and then, and those very moments she lives for which may only last 5 seconds. I cried back to back as I watched this movie twice because my husband caught it from the middle and wanted to catch it from the beginning immediately after. This movie really makes you just want to go out and save everybody who can can barely help themselves, if only we could. One of the most emotional movies I've ever seen. I truly love this one.
