Overly long...derivative of every other mafia movie. If you’ve seen The Godfather you have seen The Irishman.

Every bit as good as the newspaper and on-line reviewers have written. It uses tropes from many older mystery movies (Clue is a big one), and even cuts into a TV clip of Murder She Wrote. The actors are wonderful--and Daniel Craig's detective is terrific. It is just the right length for the plot to twist and turn, and then resolve. This was one of the most entertaining movies I've seen in years--just pure fun. The audience was really involved in the movie, laughing at times. I'm not sure I'd agree with the woman next to me who gave it a "10 out of 10" (she said this at the end to her friend sitting next to her), but it certainly was close.

Fun, fast pasted, but you need to understand the importantance of the garage.

a really lovely movie that celebrates the written word and peoples' resilience in the face of unspeakable horror.
