The 'experts' gave this movie bad reviews, but it and District #9 are my favorite invasion movies. Some sappy scenes, but loved it overall.So much better than those almost completely CGI super hero movies.

I have not seen the anime, and so I thought this very entertaining. The story was pretty predictable, but the action and computer graphic imagery was good and not distracting. I had no idea about all the fuss until after viewing it, thank goodness. I think people who are concerned about the color of the actors are racist. I have seen many recent Japanese and Chinese movies and OMG they don't have any Ainu or Uyghurs in them at all!

If you open your eyes, but don't think you can sit through it. I would have given a higher rating if they would have shortened the movie by 127 minutes.

I thought the CGI was good, but it was Blair Witch for monsters, so not creative at all, and no real story building cause there was no plot, but alot of nauseating running around. I really didn't like the characters, so at times I was rooting for the alien. Surviving the helicopter crash was totally unbelievable.

Best film ever. Not a fan of musicals, but there was nothing to dislike. Every year in the 60s the family would gather round to watch it - again.

I saw the other 3, but I am not a Matrix geek. I liked the first like everyone else. I thought the next 2 were weak like alot of other people. I watched this and thought it wasn't weak, but actually sucked. I especially hated trying to follow the storyline.And alot of the characters were just annoying. It would have been better to have done a new story about the Matrix, rather than try to carry the plot forward. It was too much for this group. Have people forgotten how to make movies and TV series? I find very few interesting things to watch in the last 5 years.
