Series 1 has been an absolute pleasure to watch, with complex interwoven plots, great characters and excellent sets/costumes/music. The Cadi’s wisdom and philosophy are wonderfully scripted & acted. Boris Zaharyas is one of film’s great villains, on a par with Hannibal Lecter and Lord Voldemort. Even some of the minor characters are entertaining like Ceyrek & Zeyrek. Filinta is an addictive, engrossing historical drama and moral tale on a grand scale but you have to find the time in your busy schedule to view 62 episodes in Series 1 without losing the continuity. Top marks to the writer, actors and film company who produced Filinta.
