this movie is great in most aspects. The actors played well, the action was top notch, and so was the cinematography. but the most important part is the story. which is laggy. throughout the movie the sense of a zero back story and what was about the dacoits. Kill messed up with the villain arc, like I don't even know what emotion I'm supposed to have with a zero sense of most characters' past and what was the reason for this mishap. Movies like I Saw the Devil could be a similar instance to compare it with, but there is no match in terms of the story. to be honest I could have easily ended within like 60 minutes or less but the movie has senseless action sense and tries to give a strange emotion with the dacoits.
verdict- it's weird to even recommend KILL because it messed up so much with writing while if you see it for technical and acting it's probably in top action movies. see a writer can have a style of storytelling but here in trying to watch a movie to indulge myself in the cinematic experience rather than thinking about wtf went wrong. I've rated it 3 stars just out of respect for other people who worked on this and did well but Mr. Writer needs to stop thinking that he wrote some "French cinema"
