3 thoughts/critiques from a New Orleanian. (Spoiler alert) 1. Any area that is susceptible to flooding like that, there ain’t no basements. 2. A CAT 5....STUPID PEOPLE try to ride that out- 98% chance you’re gonna die. 3. No helicopter CAN or WOULD be flying next to the eye wall of a CAT 5, much less a CAT 4 or even 3, that would be deadly for first responders- That is the reason the state/city/county orders mandatory evacuations because no one is coming to get you. They would’ve been on that roof for at least a couple of days.
