They actually did it. They made a decent video game movie! The designs of all the pokemon are great the design of rhyme city makes it feel like a real place and I am so glad that this movie doesn't have ash ketchum in it. I'm glad this is something new and yes, I know the characters are based of the game of the same name. I feel making it a mystery may not have been the right genre for a pokemon movie but I'm glad it wasn't just non stop battling with no plot and team rocket and "smell ya later" . The question is do videogame movies still work? If done well with good acting good cgi and good designs and dont just copy the exact story in the game then possibly . 7.5/10 a great movie for all ages. No seriously if you are an adult you will enjoy this movie.

This is an 8/10 movie Up be honest no one ever comes to a dragon ball movie for a solid plot but there is so many things wrong with it. The visuals are spot on and the battle is actually amazing and nice to look at. The small cast of characters and having only one plot keeps everything balanced so it isnt a complete mess. One thing that really annoys me about this movie is the new broly. The design is great and the backstory is also great but his new personality shows more humanity in himself instead of the demon hellbent on revenge. Broly doesn't scream "KAKAROTTT!!!!!" once in this movie I know that might seem like a really pretty thing but it's what made the character memorable and intimidating. At the end of the movie goku seems to help out broly and try to become his friend. I know that a lot of villains in the past (Piccolo, vegeta, tien and the androids) have become friends to goku and the others but there are a few villains that shouldn't be made even near close to friends. These are people like freiza, cell, zamasu and BROLY. If you like non stop amazing action than this movie will please anyone even people who aren't fans of the dragon ball franchise . I keep hearing that this story may or may not become canon to the franchise but I personally hope it doesn't and that it becomes a stand alone movie. Sorry if I ranted a bit there but the movie is an 8/10 go watch it

Now that I'm older I do see where people are coming from when they say this movie sucks and honestly... it does. But from the perspective of 7 year old me this movie was exciting and had a very interesting plot and 2 unique superhero characters. Jokes were funny and the ending was satisfying. I would recommend this movie is shown to kids who cant exactly tell when a movie is bad or not. But if you are over the age of 10 you probably won't find any enjoyment from this movie. 4/10 Not very enjoyable for adults.

CGI action sequences were good but this movie felt really rushed leaving not enough time for character development. The movie should've been longer and not have been crammed into an hour and 30 minute time frame. But I loved the casting, the voices for the symbiotes. Overall it was a fun movie don't know if I would watch it again though.

This movie was an improvement from BvS but what made it bad was the casting and the plot. Jared Lego as the joker made me hate this movie before it even came out. As much as I like will smith he just did not go with the role of deadshot. Margot Robbie seemed like a good choice (and she was) for Harley quinn but she more served a eye candy so horny teenagers would want to watch it. The plot was really dull its never explained why they have to use the villains. A part from the fact that if the good guys went rogue they needed people to stop them. But that didn't explain why batman and wonder woman couldn't have stopped enchantress. Also the joker served no role in this movie other than the fact he was a villian too, the movie could've played out the exact same without him. This seemed like a unique idea and could've been a success as marvel hasn't done a movie like this yet but the casting and continuous plot holes ruin this movie.

After the years of hype we got a 5 minute battle between the two heroes AND the only reason they stopped was because their mums had the same name?! The special effects and fight scenes are great but the pacing of this movie all just to proceed to a dissapointing 5 minute scene. Not worth any of your time.

This wasn't a "perfect" movie but it isn't as bad as people make it out to be. The design on the cat is awful but the jokes acting and plot is all enjoyable. If you can get past the horrible special effects then this is a good movie for kids to watch.

This was basically DC saying "HEY! We have Halle Berry in skimpy clothing! Cone watch our movie. Berry could've been a good role for this character but the overacting and seductiveness of the character just ruined the role. Honestly the worst superhero/villian movie ever created.
