A master class of narrative switching, layered like an onion being put together rather than peeled apart. Phenomenal performances by an amazing cast. I can’t let on how it made me feel after completing it because that might spoil the ending.

Watching this movie was like starting a book in the middle and refusing to read to the end. If you don't already know a lot about Enzo Ferrari, you might be lost. I was.

Good action sequences, but zero plot movement. It takes more than half the movie to origin-story the characters of whom we know everything we need to know in the first ten minutes. That time could have been spent building an actual story. And for the record, I loved the Jason Bourne movies (1-3). They proved an action flick can be smart as well as totally ass-kicking. I mention this just to avoid being pegged as a cinephile snob.

What a refreshing change of pace! No politics, no judgment, no manipulation... just delightful vignettes, each as alluring and tasteful as the dishes that anchor each episode. A soothing balm for these heady times.

I liked the focus and the realism. If you are a fan of WW2-based films, you will probably enjoy this.

Five episodes in and I'm enjoying it immensely. Great cast, fun concept, and some solid comedy. I hope they find more to do plot-wise with the space/science angle because it's so novel.
