People watching this show, please don't take the so called "experts" ratings or opinions to seriously. Clarice is a good show! For Network television, a very good show. I have worked in law enforcement and have corroberated with Federal agencies since before the time this series is set in. Even I understand that shows about law enforcement will never follow procedures and protocols as in the real thing. There will always be "artistic license", and honestly, I welcome it! If I want real life, I'll walk out my front door and go back on assignment. It's clear that this show is more psychological and character driven. Refreshing! My immediate thought when hearing about this show, was would they find a talented enough actor to play the part of Clarice? Second was, could they give her, and the rest of the cast, good material? As for the material, thus far, I think the writing has been well done, with interesting story lines. As far as Rebecca Breeds in the lead role of Clarice, CBS has struck gold! She is darn near perfect for this part. On top of that, her West Virginia accent is spot on. Not an easy feat for her, I'm sure, being Australian. Better give her good material to keep this actor invested! I believe, in the near future, a lot of folks will be calling for her services.
Anyway, rely more on audience reviews than the ratings "GIANTS " for this one and give it a go. Believe this: in terms of what premiered on network television this season, this is a very welcome addition!
