It's Great. Yes! There are cringy parts. It is Disney. Most of the tolerable bits are quite entertaining.

Love it. The powers that be (Producers, Paramount execs and other investors) wanted a movie that combined 2001 A space odyssey with Star Wars and Gene wanted to tell an action story without much violence. And boy did they deliver. After being starved of Star Trek this was a direct shot to the veins for a lifelong Star Trek fan. I know most don't like this movie but I think it made a great transition from TV to Movie. Love Trek LLAP.

After I had repeatedly watched the original series and was craving more Star Trek and along came The next generation. Loved every episode, even the bad ones.

Loved this movie when I was 13/14 still love it. It is one of the many movies I Love to watch again and again; especially when I am feeling down. Takes me back to being a nerdy kid.

A well done nostalgic show. I like to think of it as what "Happy Days" was to those who grew up in the era the show was set in. This is Happy Days for us 80's Nerd's and Geek's.
