It was shocking to see such a well-seasoned cast doing this movie. Timothee Chalamet pulled off the character that was written for the script but it didn’t feel right knowing he was Wonka. As for the storyline, can you say pointless?? Also, they decided to make this a full on musical and it’s not good music. Think sketch comedy meets a great composer. In fact, I felt the movie was a sketch at multiple times. Save your money and don’t go.
