Does not follow the story or the history Tolkien put into writing and is more fanboy material than anything. The acting is weak, and the dialog is cheesy one liner after cheesy one liner. The costumes are okay, and sets are nice. It is a pretty show to watch and mildly entertaining, but isn't Tolkien.

Once again Disney takes source material, and throws it in the trash. Disney is getting really good at plagerizing names of books and characters but changing them to suit its own agenda. If Disney is going to call the show Percy Jackson, it should make Percy Jackson. Not this junk.
