Movie started good then got really weird. A lot of sloppy twists

The show was good until I noticed that the reenacted scene had nothing to do with what the person sitting in the circle was talking about. For example the story teller might say, “my grandfather made me kill things” and the re-enacted scene shows a little boy with his head being stuffed in a carcass. The show is build around the fake scenes and not the “real life” events. Show is not scary or believable.
