I'm honestly a little surprised at how some comments made by the matchmaker are so rude and forceful. They try to have this whole 21st century modern approach to matchmaking but it's so old-fashioned. And what's with Indians having to marry only Indians???? Are these Indians who are basically American, being born and brought up in the US, being tied down to only other Indians? The entire show is hypocritical. It can be called 'Indian matchmaking' but they can also show more Indians being open to other people as well. Things have changed in so many parts of the world and other communities, and I'm surprised the views are so limited in this series. I don't think it gives a good vibe to other people who watch it. It's because of this foreigners don't even approach Indian women sometimes, in other countries, because they think we're so uptight with regards to only marrying one of our own kind. It's definitely ok to marry within your community if you happen to find someone nice and things work out but we don't have to shut out other groups, and other nationalities. And why are the families represented in this show rich, snooty and picture perfect? What about other Indians? I don't think this is a good or true representation in any way.
