It's an amazing feat by Peter Jackson bringing these pivotal few weeks of the Beatles later creative collaborations to life. It adds more dimension to the Beatles' legendary playfulness and conflicts while at the same time humanizing their relationships, flawed as they were. It's clear why George Harrison wanted to leave the band, and also clear why he also wanted to stay. Ringo is the quiet sane center of the band, while Paul clearly loves the creative process and prodding his fellow musicians to get on with it. John is the most challenging in staying with the program, but knows when to focus and make his magic.
This is a stellar work by Peter Jackson that takes us all back to the 60s when these guys were still putting the music together...
