Personally I thought this game was a masterpiece. At first, I was underwhelmed by the game then I got it into my hands and by the time I played the “Mipha Zora princess level” I realized this game was incredible. It paints a real feeling past for the champions that we only got to see memory’s of I’m BOTW. and goes more in depth with Zelda herself. SPOILERS ahead. After the calamity strikes I realized this game was going in a different direction (expected) and honestly I loved it they brought back the champions from BOTW and it really felt like the whole family was there. Not to mention the gameplay is incredible and every weak point attack gets me on the edge of my seat. Plus every character has there own fresh and amazing fight style I’m mainly talking about the Champions and Link/Impa/Zelda but all the rest are still excellent. The ending was really good. Seeing Link cutting though Ganon was crazy satisfying and Zelda sealing Gabon was perfect. In other words, to me this was the perfect backstory game.
