The inaccuracy in portraying one of the greatest queens of Egypt is not easy to pass by. Admitting that Adele James did a magnificent job and she has all my praise for the portrayal, however, she might not be the right choice for the role. It is known from history books that Cleopatra was greek and by all means, white. Not only that, but in one of the many tales it is indicated how she wanted to have a skin so white that she constantly bathed in milk and honey, for that reason. Again, Adele did an amazing job and this is nothing against her but rather more against the too woke state in which cinema is.
It saddens me to see and acknowledge that somewhere down the road they'll try and rewrite even the Nordic history and depict vikings as a different race.
Ps. The one star is for Adele and the historians that took part in this shambled series.
