Uninspiring, misrepresented, Anti-Christian. This movie poses as a heart warming tale about faith, unity and forgiveness. What the movie actually provides is a vacuous, shallow tale about shilling abortion.
The movie starts off with four stories that intertwine through various relationships, then in the last third descends in a hard sell about abortion and extreme hypocrisy by the supposedly Christian women. They were presented as devout, prayed everyday, but never seemed to have read the Bible. If they had, they'd be aware that two of them committed grave sin by trying to deny Yehovah's will, destroying his creation and his image. They condone abortion even when it's clear that it's a terrible sin. They all acted as if trying to dispose of another another human and your own flesh and blood is normal, when it's blatantly about convenience and removing accountability. Not one of them had any faith and none of them had any conception of what the Bible says about this life, forgiveness, righteous living, sin or the redemption Jesus bought for us.
There's also the fact that all the men are relegated from leaders of the family, who lovingly provide for their families, put a roof over their heads and food on the table, to idiotic buffoons who won't be reasoned with. They're presented as incapable of carrying out the most basic tasks and no one respects them. Are we honestly meant to believe an adult who works and pays their bills couldn't cope without their spouse for one week? Honestly, this movie couldn't be much further from the Bible if it tried.
There was no point in any of those seared hypocrites going to Lourdes. They were only Christian by name. In short, I don't appreciate my beliefs being exploited to sell some hot trash like this movie and it's corporate sponsored message i.e. 'Abortion's good. Help us make billions'.
