Deadpool & Wolverine is, BY FAR, the best product to be released by Marvel/Disney since Avengers: End Game. Just when you thought this team-up couldn’t get any better, the film continues to exceed expectations throughout its 2-hour runtime.
With numerous unexpected and welcomed cameos from the past, perfect timing and the typical profane nature, humor, and fourth wall-breaking of Deadpool, a memorable villain, paired with the uncanny chemistry between Reynolds and Jackman, this movie was the ultimate fan-service!
I don’t recommend bringing your kids along to see this film, as it earns its R-rating and then some. However, DP3 serves as a brilliant homage to the fans who grew up watching X-Men, while also intertwining the newer concepts seen in Marvel — primarily relating to Loki, the multiverse, etc.
Just when I was about to lose all faith in what Marvel is today, they release an ultra-violent comedy masterpiece like this that makes me want more.
I don’t care what Rotten Tomatoes says. Deadpool & Wolverine was a 10/10.
