Beautiful movie, watched it with the family. My two young children didnt bat an eye at the kiss between Bal and his partner at the end. The same way they've never batted an eye or questioned any male/female romance. I waited for the "ohhhh" realization from my eldest, or a question from my youngest. But it never came. The only thing my eldest said was "Everyone can be happy now that theyre not afraid of whats behind the wall." before lamenting about Nimona herself. I'd like to think thats progress. So even though I see these hateful, scared, bigoted reviews that drive home WHY we need this film; I have hope for the next generations.
