While I am a huge Breaking Bad fan, I was underwhelmed. I feel like this movie was overhyped. Some parts had my attention, others didn’t make any sense at all, like the flashback of Walt and Jesse at the hotel/restaurant. Also I get how Jesse was treated like a complete animal in Breaking Bad but I would’ve preferred not to see the flashbacks of that in depth. I was expecting more like the DEA force going to the burial site to get Hank and Gomey, and maybe a memorial. All of they’re colleagues there showing respect and honor to Hank and Gomey, and to their wives. I would have like to have seen the reactions of Skyler, and Flynn when they learned Walt was dead. Also Marie, hows the relationship between her and Skyler. Did Gretchen and Elliott donate the 9 million dollars for Walt’s kids??? There are still gaps for us to draw our own conclusions, however the best part of the movie was the end when Jesse got away. Overall El Camino was OK, but I can say that I would not watch it over and over like I would Breaking Bad which is in heavy rotation at my house, too many times to count. I could never get tired of Breaking Bad. Last but not least, Aaron Paul’s performance was bomb as always!!
