This is a great way for an over 13 age group to start the holiday season. Don't take your little kids. They wouldn't understand the plot it may frighten them and there is alot of fighting and some colorful language. I loved the cast. I went in without even seeing a trailer so didn't know what to expect. The plot was a change of pace for a holiday film with a big range of Christmas mythology included. Not all sweetness and light, but there is enough holiday fare out there to fit that bill. A few laughs and a happy ending made for a good movie. Finally the special effects, especially the updated sleigh and reindeer were very well done in my opinion.
