Excellent movie. Great storyline and acting. The plot follows a youngster whose father’s singular dream is to see him in the US. Without his knowledge this becomes his dream too. The movie is about him finding what he really wants in his life and realising that going to the US is not the ultimate goal. One needs to figure out what makes one happy and pursue that rather than blindly following a trend. Movie touches a lot of sensitive points - parents of NRIs and their struggles, changing priorities of children settled in the US, the loneliness of their parents etc. The writing is very impressive. Humor feels natural. Lead actors did a great job with their roles Overall a very nice find on Prime. Good watch!

Just finished watching Oh My Venus again. This title kept showing up on my Netflix recommendations but I never clicked on it. I was expecting it to be a run of the mill transformation series. Oh boy was I wrong! I’ve watched it 4 times already in 1 month. Got to a point where I had to reflect why I was so consumed by the series lol. I think the goodness in the characters, relatability, spectacular plot, mind blowing acting and sex appeal of the leads hit the nail in the head. I was not sure this was popular. After reading the reviews to see many people rewatch it like me, has given me some in inner peace :D This is by far the best K drama I have seen. I am 100% sure I will watch it again and again when I feel like seeing something entertaining and heart warming. Even in the steamy scenes there is nothing sleazy. The episode where the leads get back together is so so well made. I’m shocked to know that this show is 7yrs old. I am writing this review so this title gets the credit it deserves as one of all time best K dramas
