2 stars for the fact that James Mcavoy was a good actor in this film, but honestly this film was awful in so many ways. Not just the fact that it basically compared DID to demonic possession but also the pacing, the plot and the camera work were awful. This film doesn’t have an interesting plot, it just exploits stigma around mental health to do some stupid ‘Pervy devil worshippers sacrifice helpless sexualised young women’ plot that is so overdone anyway.

Alright if you want to watch something for the sake of it, but if you're easily bored don't try to watch it critically because it quickly becomes full of plot holes and awful dialogue
