Huge Toni Collette fan. Had high expectations for this series. First episode was interesting, though I had to keep reminding myself that the daughter was supposed be 30. I have teenagers who act older than she does. Anyhoo- the casting was insanely bad. The "young" and, I guess, for lack of a better word, "old" Laura look NOTHING alike and there is a significant height disparity, leaving me to assume that the "young" Laura had a growth spurt in her mid-twenties. Also, the two actors who play the "young" and "old" Nick look nothing alike and also seem to be about the same age. The step-dad's character is completely underdeveloped, there are hints that Nick may have been bisexual, for what reason, who knows, and the storyline involving Paula Kunde is nothing more than a dead end. So many issues with the plot line, the characters, the acting, the list goes on and on. If your free time is limited and you don't have many opportunities to watch television, I would take a definite skip on this series. I wish I had.
