Hello! I am not a professional reviewer but I do watch a lot of movies. Especially Bollywood.
Firstly, teachers are POTRAYED IN A VERY BAD LIGHT HERE. There is a scene where a teCher asks a middle schooler why is her parents divorced? Or why she has her mother's name as a middle name instead of her father's? In front of the whole class.
Absolutely ridiculous. Being a teacher myself, I would never ever do such thing or even ask anything personal infront of the whole class. Nor ridicule a child or her parents' choice. And I know for a fact none of the teachers would , be good or bad.
Secondly it doesnt exactly tell us whether women who chose to have their own decisions and not worry about the society is a good things or bad or whether we should take it up. Of course maybe the makers left it on us to make a choice , though somewhere I felt they sort of made a point that opposed what they intended to do.
Kajal, one of my fav actresses of all the time, overdid it here with her chutzpah. I always considered her acting natural, till I saw this.
