Kim Dolby was not the right person for Ms Ross role. She was an over actor and appeared to be an amateur. Obvious age discrepancy as well. She was the only downfall that prevented a 5 star review in my opinion. The movie plot was excellent and for no previous acting experience, Glenn Campell was good. Of course John Wayne made the movie great in itself. In my opinion, John Wayne is a natural. Unlike Kim Dolby, he doesn't appear to reading script. I give Kim Dolby a 1/2 star for her contribution in True Grit. The cat, General, was more impressive than Kim Dolby.

This show does not seek talent, it seeks a sad story to keep America sad. Hollywood fiction! What do you expect from tv actors? I’ve seen talent on this show and then never seen them again probably due to their not so sad story, bias judges and discriminative judges. I say put a blindfold on judges and never talk to the person before the day of audition then you will find talent.

Aunt Bee wasn’t really missed. Nobody wants to see somebody that doesn’t appreciate their fans. It’s not about her! Thank you to the great actors that made this movie. I enjoyed it.
