I thought this was an awful series! I watched until the end and tried so hard to like it. But comparing a combine to slave trade! Ridiculous! His parents were very white.. and maybe they were oblivious to what he needed as an African American but he wasn't hard up. They obviously loved him and gave him the best they could. White shaming on his count, disgusting in my eyes.
