Culinary Class Wars is a good drama series, but it is definitely not a ‘reality show.’ Throughout the competition, it became clear that there were signs of manipulating the results to balance the representation of black and white chefs, but I tried to overlook it to enjoy the show. However, the finale confirmed that the show was scripted. This is likely one of the most disappointing series to come out of Korea, and it raises doubts about the integrity of Korean reality shows.
