The game has HUGE potential. It really does, but they need to fix the steering and camera. The fact they don’t have an option to have the steering straighten out on its own is absurd. There’s a reason 99% of all other driving games do it that way. Sure it might be fine for people with a wheel, but the reality is the vast majority of players use the standard controller. I feel like a drunk 8 year old trying to drive down a simple paved road in this game and I’ve driven semi trucks hauling 80,000lbs of multi million dollar cargo through mud and ice so I know it’s not my driving that’s the issue here. As for the camera. The first person view is very limited on view. I feel like an adjustable field of vision would help. The 3rd person camera needs one SIMPLE little option. The option to have the camera fixed to the vehicle so when you corner the camera stays locked with the vehicle. The camera lags behind when you corner often leaving you blind as to what you’re driving into. I’ve heard a lot of people complain about the camera not having a static option available. Also I’ve noticed some of the late game trucks are almost unusable due to bottoming out on almost flat surfaces or imaginary obstacles. The “Azov 73210” and ESPECIALLY the “Kolob 74760” are infamous for this issue. I was so excited to use the Kolob and when I drove it I was unbelievably disappointed. The amount of times it’s come to an immediate stop for absolutely no reason is infuriating. It also will drop the trailer often when it does this. I have several video clips showing this happen. I understand these fixes take time, but if they aren’t addressed I will 100% stop playing this game and will never buy another instalment in the future. I paid nearly $100 for snowrunner and I don’t feel like I got a game worthy of that price as of yet. That being said I’ve still have lots of fun playing it, but the issues are taking their toll on me and the fun is dwindling away in the midst of my frustration.
