I was thoroughly entertained by the film and when it ended I said aloud "well that was fun". That's a pretty good endorsement in my book.

Having read the books years ago (absolutely loved them) I am so far a bit disappointed with the deviations from the source material. That being said, aside from the plot additions, the series is visually beautiful and compelling enough that I know I'll watch it in its entirety. I expect that the introduction of the armored bears will liven things up quite a bit. The series is really only just getting rolling.

My Mister is one of the best tv series my wife and I have ever watched. Moody and melancholy at times but extremely and unpredictably satisfying. The characters and performances are amazing and obviously the direction as well. I cant say enough good things about it. Stick to it to the conclusion. It is well worth it.
