The animated Lord of the Rings is a pretty fantastic thing to behold. At times there is barely any animation it seems but it's thorough retelling of the source material is admirable for one film.

Bird Box is a good movie, not great but good. It is a well acted and well directed suspense horror flick; it does a good job of creating genuine thrills with a limited budget and scale. The movie is a little long; however the actors do a good job of creating genuine characters that you find yourself pulling for. There is a comparison to "A Quiet Place" that is more coincidental than anything. The themes are similar but do not let these comparisons prevent you from watching this movie. One time viewing but good.
