Interesting to note that the film was released on 12/25/2001, just a few months after the infamous 9/11 attacks by Al Queda. I wonder if the unfortunate timing had something to do with the movie not doing that well.
Also, the Thrilla in Manila, arguably Ali's greatest fight, wasn't even mentioned in the movie, let alone shown to any degree.
