I saw the series and there were 2 things that stood out to me .
Firstly , the jilted ex-lover who only came forward to exact revenge on him and was focused on how he had betrayed her . He had performed at least 2 of the 3 surgeries when he was in a relationship with her and yet , she had a lack of empathy towards the victims and their family . The fact that she had dated a murderer did not seem to occur her . There was also a lack of accountability on her part regarding the biased documentary that she had produced on his life . She said he had used her which is in fact , true but she failed to realise that she allowed that to happen when she chose to pursue a relationship while making a documentary about him .
Secondly , I do applaud the whistleblowers . What I did not understand was how they did not notice that the plastic windpipes had no stem cells on them when the procedure was being carried out . Also , why did they not trust their own discernment when they were noticing that there were adverse side effects immediately after surgery ? After all , they are qualified surgeons who were also being employed by a Nobel Prize institute . They were qualified to be there in that role . Why did they not raise an issue with Paolo or the board immediately ?
