The first ever Scream was a brilliant switch on the whole ‘who done it?’ Slasher movie and all these years later I think they really hit the nail on the head with another fresh take. It gets tiring seeing the main characters scream in fear the entire movie only to switch into a semi-badass at the end and kill the villain. With S5 they set up Sams underlying psychotic tendencies and carried it forward with this one in such a great arch which didn’t have to be shoved down our throats the entire run time that I wasn’t even bothered Nev was absent the entire time. Really impressed!
