I like the combination of mystery, and offbeat characters and humor. To all the politically correct snowflakes who complain about OCD and Autism stereotyping: grow up. It's a TV show for god's sake ( I'm a progressive but I do have a sense of humor and the absurd). Those who don't will have to move to a different planet. This one is what it is.
