After growing up loving the Mad Max movies 1, 2, & 3 Beyond Thunderdome, I was so disappointed with Mad Max, Fury Road. It wasn't the same without Mel GIBSON as Max. I didn't enjoy it as much as the other Mad Max movies. There wasn't a storyline to Fury Road. It was a car race that went on & on, & on with heaps of cars being smashed up. That was it. It just wasn't the same as previous Mad Max movies. It shouldn't have been called Mad Max. It should have been a different movie all together. Changing the star role with another actor never works. I didn't enjoy it. Bring back Mel GIBSON for future Mad Max movies please, even if he's an older man in the movie. He's the original Mad Max & should be in these movies... I really don't know what the fuss was all about. How anyone can watch Fury Road until the end, I don't know. I found it really boring. I'd recommend everyone watch the first 3 Mad Max movies. They are fantastic, with a great storyline of why Max was after the Toecutter, the Night Rider & everyone. "Cundalini wants his hand back". The actor who played Toecutter, is Immortan Joe in Fury Road. I thought he was heaps better in Mad Max original than Fury Road. I wouldn't recommend watching Fury Road. Boring...
