Loved this mini series. It reminded me of Pride and Prejudice and it was fun recognizing actors from other British series like Father Brown and Downton Abbey.

I really enjoy period dramas and this series was quite satisfactory. I hope it comes back for a season 2: The music was enchanting, costuming well done and characters interesting. The storylines wove together well and I was happy to see the main character grow a backbone in the end. Watching Hotel Portofino provided a pleasant way to spend a few afternoons.
