The Suicide of Rachel Foster is a disgusting game that romanticizes the idea and actions of child grooming and pedophilia. (spoilers). Throughout the game you, the character, discover evidence of your father grooming and raping a 16 year old girl. The game then tries to justify this by describing how intelligent he was, how he could take apart and reassemble a car in 30 minutes, as if that excuses his actions. They also describes the girl (Rachel) wearing a form fitting dress and calling her "mature and sexy". The picture on the missing poster shows a model-like woman wearing a tight top and makeup rather than a girl in the 80's (when this game is set). The game constantly frames her suicide as something done on a whim or out of spite. Talking about how she ruined two families (hers and yours). It constantly leaves the dad out of it and frames their "relationship" as true love. To end this long review, do not buy this game. Don't be fooled by the graphics and soundtrack, it is a poorly written attempt at a "murder mystery" and exploits serious topics for terrible twists.
