As a 71 year young Canadian, I have been trying in desperation to fully understand, why America is so angrily divided? What is tearing these "United" people apart? They are the "United States" of America. They've had years of elections without civil war looming... what has happened to divide them so strongly? Why are there so many unwilling to discuss the truth of it all? This movie addresses these questions, showing the reality of why many of America's Trump supporters are willing to let democracy die. Over the years jobs have been sourced out to other Countries and people have been left economically behind and forgotten. They are rightfully angry. Looking for someone to see their pain and really do something to fix it. Unfortunately Trump "sees their pain" and "uses it," by feeding into that anger. Saying "he will make America great again". Telling untruths. He is using there anger. Not to save them from further economic decline, but to win their vote. (I've watched and read both sides for years in an effort to understand.) He's rich and has shown no compassion for those who struggle. He knows that if they believe he cares about them, they will fight to get him elected. He's a salesman selling himself. If he is elected again, it's quite possible that America's freedom to express will be quite quickly taken away and their voices muted. If he's not elected, America just might become "United" again. Covid was the catalyst for the world's loss of jobs in this decade. It only makes sense that after that world event, (An event that was devastating to so many.) it will take some time to come back and thrive again. It's coming. The "United States" of America is my neighbor. I hope all those who are so rightfully angry, come to recognize that Joe is trying very hard to take care of you by doing what's right. I think if you give him another 4 years, you will see the results of all his hard work. He's bringing jobs back, beyond what were lost to covid. Along with so much more. He's truly putting the work into making America great again... He's not bragging about it... He's just working hard to achieve it. Talk to each other. Share points of view with unity in mind.
