I am a huge fan of “Euphoria” and when I read the scathing reviews of “The Idol”, I thought, “how bad can it be?”. It was THAT bad..from start to end. I cringed from the get-go all the way to the end. I forced myself to sit through it because I had to see it for myself. I get that it was supposed to be a satire but nothing in the writing nor the performance was brilliantly executed. The sex scenes were gratuitous and self indulgent. Thank goodness there were only 5 eps.
