Don't read the bad reviews, this movie is great. If you are into gothic and epic fantasy you'll love this. It has a stellar cast and a great plot. It's almost ten years old so of course you are going to get girls wearing denim jeans tucked into boots and hair like Jenifer Anister in 'Friends' but I think the special effects are good and so is the script. The only thing that let it down to my mind is the music.

I loved this and think it will become an Australian iconic gothic film. Don't read the reviews here; if you are in Australia you will appreciate this film and how it weaves together mental illness, guilt and shame, the Australian outback, and the end result of living in a drought-prone and tough country like ours. The past coming back to wreak havoc on the present and karmic lessons that have to be learned.
