I have always followed the sewing bee. Sorry, but I found the first episode of this new series very disappointing indeed. Too many of the participants haven't got a clue as to what they are doing. Their knowledge of sewing is so basic I can't see them improving. It may seem amusing at first, but could become rather wearing as time goes on. Timescales were not reached and the results were shabby and poor. I don't feel the three presenters gelled at all and the jokes between them just didn't work. Not much here to make me want to continue watching any further episodes. Sorry, its all fallen rather flat.
