Les Deffner

This is an adorable little film. Charlie Day and Jenny Slate are very convincing as the conniving pair who prove the old saying "hurt people, hurt people." Despite the formulaic plot outline, the twists in the story ending give it some fresh air. I'd have given it 4 stars had the denouement been 3 minutes longer to wrap up the story better. It just ended too abruptly for my liking.
